Day 1
September 23
Join us in Alberta’s capital city for the start of the second annual Life Sciences Week! The week begins with an exciting array of events designed to set the stage for a week of innovation and collaboration. Whether you’re an industry leader, health professional or life sciences entrepreneur, we’ve got something for you!
The day features the Clinical Trials Summit, offering insights into the latest advancements and strategies in clinical research. Explore quality management and regulatory compliance for startups through expert presentations and a panel on medical device commercialization. Additionally, visit the Edmonton Research Park to network and discover the latest developments in the life sciences sector.
Day 2
September 24
Day 2 of Life Sciences Week 2024 features Edmonton Innovation Day, highlighting groundbreaking discoveries and innovations happening right here in the community through panels, presentations, pitches and networking.
Concurrently, Calgary’s Student Day provides a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the life science ecosystem, focusing on bridging the skills gap and exploring training pathways while offering valuable networking opportunities.

Day 3 is Calgary’s Innovation Day, showcasing innovation and investment in the life sciences sector. Experience a day of panels, presentations, and networking opportunities, highlighting the latest advancements and investment opportunities in Southern Alberta.
Meanwhile, join us for DemoCamp YEG – Life Sciences Edition in Edmonton, where developers, entrepreneurs, and investors will share and critique new life science-focused projects in an informal setting. Both events offer valuable insights and connections to drive progress in the life sciences field.

On Day 4 of Life Sciences Week, join us at the University of Alberta for a full day of life sciences innovation, featuring dynamic panels, immersive tours, and engaging events. Start with breakfast and end with a networking meetup, discovering the impressive resources and success stories on campus.

September 27
Wrap up Life Sciences Week with a splash at “Cell-ebrate on the River,” the official wrap-up party hosted on the Edmonton Riverboat.
